Instructional Methodology
The MFIN is a demanding degree taught entirely in English.
The degree requires the ability to work independently and to absorb large amounts of information quickly - applicants are expected to be computer-literate and proficient in both oral and written English.
Thorough preparation is the key to successfully completing the MFIN. Students are expected to make a significant learning effort during scheduled course times and should expect to spend approximately 30-40 hours per week outside class for study, class projects, reading, and preparation.
IUM endeavors to create a business-like environment and educates its students to conduct themselves professionally and ethically in preparation for their future careers. A special emphasis is placed on developing students' ability to communicate effectively, in full awareness and respect of cultural diversity and difference of opinions.
The university is renowned for its modern facilities in which students learn in small classes, and receive individual attention from professors. In addition, the university provides individual career counseling and students enjoy the support of a dedicated staff.
Program participants come from all over the world and represent a variety of backgrounds and professions, creating a multi-layered student body diversity that enhances personal development and career prospects.
